If students enrolled as full time students at Korea Maritime & Ocean University’s mechanical engineering, civil and environmental engineering, and ship building and materials engineering majors choose to be supervised by a professor under the education and research group, such students can study their major as well as the new and renewable marine energy convergence major program simultaneously while becoming part of the 4th stage of the BK21 project, “Global Innovative Talent Cultivation Group for New and Renewable Marine Energy Convergence Technology”. Also, various scholarship benefits will be awarded.
- Scholarships (at least 1,000,000 KRW/month for master’s program, 1,600,000 KRW/month for doctoral program)
- Incentives given to graduate students according to achievements (presentations at international conferences, paper publications in internationally renowned academic journals etc.)
- Opportunities to participate in domestic and international academic conferences and short/long-term overseas training programs
